Currently working on finishing my MBA at Berkeley Haas. Meanwhile, I am exploring two possible paths that are two sides of the same coin.
One path is as a venture capitalist (investor, mentor, advisor) where I am planting the seeds to launch a new podcast series interviewing VCs and entrepreneurs on ventures.fm.
The second path is continuing entrepreneurship, either through launching a new venture, backing a new start-up or leveraging the Search Fund model.

So much has changed since October 23rd, 2019. 16 months of change to be exact. A conversation in Manu's Slack from Carl prompted this update.
So what now?
Finished my MBA last August (COVID cancelled my last Amsterdam Design Thinking class and I ended up having to make up a class in June). Almost exactly 4 months after that October 23rd post, I ended up picking the second path of continuing entrepreneurship via launching not just one but two new ventures.
The first is called alumni.fm. It came to fruition as a byproduct of the OneHaas podcast I started as a first year MBA student back in 2018. It was just a passion project. I never wanted to "get in" to podcasting professionally. However, the perfect storm of timing with my graduation, COVID, and an upcoming annual Haas alumni conference prompted the alumni department to ask me to start an alumni podcast. That led me to research other alumni podcasts only to not find any. Hence, alumni.fm was born.
Two months after that I was introduced to Survy via Bree. We started a partnership to build what is clever.fm today. Currently taking Clever through the Berkeley LAUNCH Accelerator program, ready to launch our second MVP this week.
Aside from all that. I'm a new father to my 13-month old son, Miles. I was also made chapter president of the Haas Alumni Chapter in Orange County. Plenty to juggle these days.
